The, second “Lost Regiment” book, adds Romans, Carthaginians, ironclads, and a new man-eating horde to the world first introduced in “Rally Cry“. It’s as enjoyable as the first book and Forstchen’s knowledge of military history is once again vital to the tale. After all, how many novels in the military SF genre not only deal with logistics, but manage to make it interesting?
