Kristin Ohlson
Kristin Ohlson gives us an interesting look at a Cleveland community of cloistered nuns. The obvious comparison is t Kathleen Norris. Ohlson lacks Norris’ empathy for her subjects and, unlike Norris, never really gets the “Catholic stuff”. Sadly, Ohlson seems called to the faith but never goes deeper than the conventional “God is in everybody” concept. Despite it’s flaws, the book is worth reading and it’s nice to be reminded that the subjects of the book are praying for us all 24/7.
